Frequently Asked Questions

How do I turn my Huggy on?

  • The button for the sound module is found on the bottom of the animal when it is sitting in an upright position. You can push the animal down to play if it is in the sitting position or, if holding the animal, press the bottom of the animal to activate the sound module.

  • The sound box button can sometimes get “smushed” between the box and the bottom of the animal. You should be able to hear an audible “click” sound from the button when working properly. If not, the button is not able to fully press/release.  Open the Velcro at the base of the animal and push the interior stuffing up towards the head of the animal to allow the sound box more room to properly operate.

How do I turn my Huggy off?

  • Once on, the animal will play hymns for a 20 minute loop before automatically shutting off. If you want to turn the sound module off prior to that, you simply press the button on the bottom of the animal to turn the sound off.

Do they take batteries?

  • No. The sound module is removable and rechargeable! Every animal comes with a USB cord that is used to recharge the box. The USB cord is located inside the shipping box, so be sure to find it and store it in a safe place prior to discarding the packaging.

Can I adjust the volume?

  • Yes. Simply open the Velcro closure at the base of the animal and remove the sound module. On the left side of the box there is a black wheel that you may turn to adjust the sound to be louder or softer.

Troubleshooting the sound module

  • Be sure the sound module is turned on by checking the back of the box. The black switch should be pushed to “on.”

  • If you have the volume turned up too loud, the sound module will NOT play. Turn the music down and press the start button again to start the music.

  • If the sound module still won’t start, it most likely needs charging.
